It was a little past midnight, far too early for Giordan to even consider it time for bed, though they were distinctly not in the mood for their usual wild carousing, even with Allison's reassurances that they knew Giordan meant very little with that sort of contact they still had with other people. This specific day was in fact the one date out of the other three hundred and sixty four where their usual treasured misdeeds only served to put them in a strangely apathetic mood at best and misery at worst. Giordan had spent quite literally the entire day in bed staring at the ceiling from lack of motivation to do anything else. They had even missed their routine sending-off peck on the cheek before Allison went off to attend class in the morning, something they had made a point of dragging themselves out of bed to deliver before falling back asleep, oftentimes in the arms of someone who was certainly not that young meister.
This day though, was one where they inexplicably found themselves aching for the kind of attention that singular young woman showered upon Giordan. Reverence might be the word for the strangely foreign, awed sort of adoration that Allison gave off that had so piqued Giordan's interest that they offered the woman to share their home. Barefoot and wearing only a thin silk chemise, they emerged from their den in the underground level of the home. The lights were all turned off on the ground floor, though their feline eyes easily pierced the darkness. As they passed the kitchen, they turned their head slightly, though they still had no appetite despite not having eaten the entire day. For the first time they finally understood the occasional griping from the Persephone's inhabitants about the inconvenience of having the stairways only go one flight each and then continuing to the next level only at the opposite side of the floor, as they never had any reason prior to actually go up more than one or two flights at the most. Some light spilled out from the cracks around the door frame, and snippets of conversation and laughing could be heard, but for the most part the house was silent.
They opened the door to Allison's room without knocking, though they took care to close the door as soundlessly behind them as possible. Without a word, they approached the large four poster bed they had insisted on the young woman having and peeled back the blankets just enough to slip in under them. Giordan rolled onto their side next to Allison, and draped their arm across her chest. Their cat's ears tickled the side of the woman's face as laid their face against her shoulder, where it met her neck. The panther witch's lips murmured against her warm skin, "I'm sorry for missing you this morning. You will forgive me, won't you?" |

The woman had gone most of the day without seeing her beloved Giordan, and while this made her sad she wasn't entirely sure if she should bother them. After coming back home from school, she had found that her boyfriend was still laying around on the bed. Something could have been bothering them, but she wouldn't be able to fix that, would she? If they weren't even in the mood to get drunk, then they wouldn't be in the mood to do much else. Allison spent the rest of the day going about her business, and then made it to her bed early.
Around the time that she woke back up, it was a little after midnight, and she wasn't quite sure if she could fall back asleep. The night was dark, and her bed was comfortable enough...She was truly thankful that her love had allowed her to stay here. However, without Giordan there to keep her company, knowing how upset they had seemed, was probably going to keep her up from this point on. Almost as if on cue the woman heard the door begin to open, and then softly close. While she had a pretty good idea of who it was, she closed her eyes and pretended to be sleeping. The woman fantasized about things like this on nights that she knew she would spend alone, and the fact that it was happening filled her with immediate excitement.
She felt the covers unfold slightly, and her boyfriend's skin touch against her own. The woman held back a squeak when their ears brushed against her cheeks, and their chin fixating itself into the area between her neck, and shoulder. Giordan's voice vibrated against her skin, and she felt inclined to answer them as she reached up to grab their hands. They were warm, and she almost felt bad about pulling them away from her chest. She had been longing for his embrace. Peeling their fingers apart, and turning herself so that she could be facing them, she began to speak. "I did miss you very much...I'd never hate you for it, but you'll have to make it up to me..."
The woman smiled, and drew herself closer to them, wrapping her arms around their back, and grasping their shoulders. While they were here, she would be able to figure out what was wrong. All she wanted was to be the best she could be. All for them. "Did you leave at all today? Even once... I can't imagine that not moving for a whole day was very fun...I did miss that kiss this morning."

Satisfyingly, the woman who had remained still so as to feign sleep tensed up marvelously as soon as Giordan settled in next to them. They couldn't manage a smile just yet, though their expression held something more reciprocal than just the usual aloof expectation that of course the only proper response was for her to light up pleasure when graced by their presence. It was likely that this was the second time GiGi had ever stepped into this room since it first become Allison's; the first would be presenting it to her when she first moved in. Needless to say their time then had mostly been spent in a scenario not too dissimilar from the present one. Even so, Allison had asserted her right as their Girlfriend, a relation that Giordan had bothered to entitle above the countless other distractions, to draw herself in and tease them without hesitation, all the while maintaining that awestruck reverence. It was this sort of unabashed greed, claiming ownership of a thing that defied common understanding, that existed in tandem with a continual gratitude of that tolerated claim, that had allowed Allison to maintain the space she currently occupied. Giordan was on a never ending hunt for novelty and had been captivated by her brand of adoration enough to play along.
One hand rested upon the broad shoulders Allison was always self-conscious enough to try to soften in appearance, though GiGi had always found them attractively strong. Dependable. Reliable. The other caressed their cheek, the tips of their fingers in particular smoothing over the curious heart shaped marks she bore. "I'd need to make it up to myself first," |
they pouted in reply. "Move? I turned my head when you came down this afternoon, didn't I? I don't have a single drop of alcohol in me and my stomach's still running empty. It's like I just want to die or something but it's still not coming. I came here to forget that though." The panther witch pulled her in and closed the distance between their lips. A little taste of dried salt was all they allowed Allison before breaking away, their half-closed eyes daring her to retaliate. [/div]

template by falkyrin of btn !

Allison shifted a little bit after their lips had touched hers. They were teasing her now, and while she adored them more than anything, she would not let her boyfriend get away with that. She would not give them the satisfaction. The woman closed her eyes, as if she were mad at them, and gave a little "Hmph," as she turned her back on them. The woman didn't wait for their reaction, before she started whispering again. "I don't want you to die, love... You should probably get a bit to eat. I'm certainly not the only thing keeping you alive."
While she didn't understand the irony of what she had just said, she would probably understand in the future. The woman bit her lip, and then turned back around almost as soon as she had finished. She allowed her lips to touch theirs, and then pulled back to look at them. "I was worried about you. Even when you're drinking, it's at least better than sitting around...That's all, love. I promise that I'm not mad." The woman wasn't sure at this point how they would have felt about her turning away, but that strange obsession pricked at her again. She couldn't let them think that she was upset.
The woman was strong on the outside, and sometimes she pretended to be on the inside...but she really wasn't. Allison was dependent on other people, and when she found someone that she thought would keep her the happiest, and the safest she clung to them. Giordan didn't belong to her...It was true that she had claimed people as her property before, but she could never say that this person belonged to her. She belonged to them, and to an extent she understood that...Though she didn't understand the truth any more than what was obvious, which was that she lived in their house.

Giordan smiled smugly as Allison immediately turned back around to kiss them again. Her affection was a constant that they took for granted, though they still took the time to reward her for it. With genuine effort, unlike the poor example they had been subjected to for years on end. It had been two years since they were dispatched, acting not of their own volition but ultimately as an extension of the raven witch’s will, to Death City. This was now the second year running that on this very date, they found themselves (not inexplicably, as the timing was no coincidence) overcome between wanting to hold his face between their hands to behold his still-lovely if hatefully avoidant eyes, and finally gouging them out so that he’d never again find himself having to look away in disgust. "You spoil me, Allison. It should have been you rather than that wretched man." |
Their hands found hers, raising them above her head as rolled over to straddle her hips. With their head tilted to a side, Giordan marveled at Allison in silence, though their eyes never took on that cold, impersonal quality of someone reminding themselves with much satisfaction of the fine artwork they had purchased. There was no question: Allison was theirs and they interrogated her regularly on her relations with classmates to ensure it, but they, unlike him, actually understood how to make their thrall enjoy sacrificing her autonomy. ”Last year I didn’t have you. Now though. This time is much better.” They used little to no pressure to actually hold the woman’s hands in place. ”I know you’d never try to hurt me. Your strength won’t ever be to harm me.” [/div]

template by falkyrin of btn !
