[Saturday - 12:37 PM]
It had been less than three months since Drake Kurogasko came to Death City upon entering in Death Weapons Meister Academy. Having just recently settled into and gotten accustomed to the school and it's many twists and turns, the un-partnered Demon Weapon decided he'd take his time getting used to the city he lived in. The young weapon had done his best to stay within DWMA's walls until now. Finding everything he needed to survive within his knapsack that he brought from his old home and the local cafe at the dorms keeping him very much alive, he was content on staying DWMA-ridden.
However,
His knapsack grew short and so did his supplies. Drake knew he couldn't stay tucked away in the dorms for all eternity. No, he had to go out. It was time he ventured out into Death City.
So he did.
Walking the streets of Death City, he made mental notes of it's importance's. The alleyways, street names, and landmarks, were but a few things that caught his eye. What really stood out to him were the many stores and attractions Death City had to offer. Deathbucks, Death Robbins, the Record Store, and Chupa♡Cabra's were all amazing places within Death City that Drake would have visit at some point or another.
However,
One place stood out to him the most. A placed that he often heard among idle chatter between his classmates as well a students. A place rumored for it's high prices and even higher reputation. A place that separated the eats from the EAT's!
"Table for one please."
"Right this way sir."
Drake walked into Deathsteraunt. A local restaurant within Death City that was famed for it's service, food, and french accents. Being loftily led to a small table for two by a petite brunette, Drake smiled and casually took a seat by himself at the table. With a polite wave, the cyan blue eyed weapon gestured a thank you and took a glimpse at the menu.
Menu....
MENU!!!!!!
Sweat.
It fizzled along his forehead at an alarming rate. Bubbling into larger pockets of salt and aqua. Trailing down his face like faulty rockets.
Hands.
Fidgeted with unparalleled nervousness. Moving the menu at speeds making it harder and harder to actually read the words, numbers.
He stopped, cooled his hands just in case the blurred speeds diluted his vision and falsified the contents of the page....
Nope.
He head-desked.
"What is up with these prices?" He mumbled to himself. Good thing he had been a rat in a cage in DWMA for so long. It gave him time to unknowingly build up his allowance. His eyes glanced up to catch a glimpse of his waitress coming back to take his order. His heart began to race once again as his eyes slowly trailed up to meet with the small brunette. And before she was even five feet from his table, with a soft tone, an awkward smile, and a bead of sweat along his head he said,
"Just a water please."

The day had started with asking Professor Ayers where most of the Meisters liked to spend their time, since Jack had only just realized that she had no idea what the 'normal' kids did for fun. The Professor's initial reaction to the question had been a bit odd, but Jack had just written it off as Ayers either being surprised that a teenager would ask what other teenagers did or that there had been a problem with some of the student's...extra-curricular activities. Either way, the Prof had listed off the names of a few places that students hug out, although none of them seemed particular interesting to her. Since she had no preference, she'd just chosen the one whose name she liked the most- the Deathsteraunt.
Since Jacqueline had always had a secret love of puns, which made the restaurant the obvious choice. That was how she found herself in the current situation; now standing outside the restaurant in question. "...Q-Quaint." That was the only word she could use to describe the building in front of her. When she'd heard it was a restaurant, she was expecting something a little more...classy? But if this is where DWMA students hung out, then...she swallowed nervously and moved to enter the building, unsure of the exact procedure for dining at a...not-so-fancy establishment.
Still, she tried her best to put on a level expression to keep her innermost thoughts hidden. It seemed as though the restaurant was just as popular as Professor Ayers had claimed, since it was packed with people- many of them students. Jack was so stunned that so many people would willingly come to a place like this that she missed the waiter's call. After snapping back to reality, she politely asked him to repeat himself. "Oh- ah, I was wondering if it was alright with you to share a table with someone else. As you can see, we're a bit crowded tonight, so..." Jack just gave him a blank stare for a few moments before shaking the stupor off, "Oh...um, yes, that would be fine." The question had taken her by surprise...sharing a table with a stranger? Such a thing was unheard of for her...
It wasn't long before she was sat at a table across from one other person, a boy with aqua hair and what seemed like razor sharp teeth. A Weapon...? She remained quiet for a moment, her face flushed slightly from embarrassment as she tried to think of something proper to say, but ended up just opening the menu placed before her and covering her face with it by pretending to be wholly engrossed in the catalog.

He patiently waited. Looking around the restaurant he saw the bustling bouts of the waiters and the eerie chatter of the many students that plagued the place. Ironically it was nice, it set a more easy-going tone that he hadn't initially felt.
As he lost himself in thought he was soon brought back as the pretty brunette came back with a cold glass of ice water. The two of them exchanged smiles while the waitress handed the glass and Drake replied with a casual, "Thank you."
He sipped.
Slowly taking in the cool contents. He settled the glass back down on the coaster that was already sat at that the table to prevent random water ways from gracing the eating area. Drake than motioned his hands back to the menu. With one arm propped up bent at the elbow and hand opened cuffing his chin, he flipped threw the pages once again looking for an appropriate meal. He didn't know whether or not he was feeling chicken... Or steak.
He was entirely torn.
In two, brief moments the young EAT student found himself folding the menu once again out of frustration. It was at this time he found himself skimming the restaurant. Though this time, something caught his eye.
Someone caught his eye.
Silver hair. Light skin. Purple eyes?
He couldn't tell as she walked. His vision fell short of her gaze as it drifted down to the table as she approached though he expected her to continue on by. It wasn't until the host gestured for her to take a seat directly in from of him that he realized that...
He was on a date!
Wait.
That wasn't right. He didn't even know her. He wasn't rationalizing...
He was on a Blind Date
It was totally obvious now. This restaurant must set people up in a swinger type of fashion to meet new people. Drake was amazed at himself for not recognizing it sooner.
But what would he say.
He casually looked up and smiled, instinctively.
She was reading the menu.
He failed.
Drake than tried a different approach. A more normal one. "Drake Kurogasko The Second, from the Kurogasko Clan... You must be..." He trailed off leaving her room to finish his sentence with what he assumed would be her name. Drake smiled with a closed mouth hiding his chiseled teeth. His eyes bounced around taking her appearance in though hopefully not looking too creep-like. She was a student from Death Weapon Meister Academy without a doubt. The only thing he wondered was whether she was a One Star like himself.
Or was she something more.
The second thing that caught his attention was her long, beautiful silver hair. Drake always had a thing for women with long hair and hers were something impressive. Either way Drake knew it would be a long night.
